After my MBBS and years of work experience, I was not getting admission in my own country to study MD medicine, so I approached RMU. I took no time to think again for I wanted to become a doctor with a MD specialization.

When I decided to study a PG degree in medicine, I knew it would be difficult to get into medical school in my country. In addition, there is always a significant gap between medical colleges in my country and International Universities in terms of educational level, learning approach and its methodology. My knowledge of medical subjects was not sufficient and had to be improved. Then, I found out about the M.D. program offered by RMU. It not only amplified my scientific skills but also developed certain autonomy, a better study method, a different way of thinking and prepared me for the upcoming years in independent medical practice. The last 6 months of my life have been a whirlwind. From feeling entirely lost and hopeless, to wanting to give up on my dream. I want to become a MD, and last year I thought that option was completely off the table until Google presented me with MD of RMU. I decided to enrol, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. RMU is a great university that helps students who are on a path to becoming specialist doctors. So thank you, RMU. Not only did you help me improve as a person, but you helped get a little closer to achieving my dream. I highly recommend it to all the future medical students.

I joined RMU because of my mediocre performance in my medical profession and because I had not much of experience with advanced topics. The program provided me with all the knowledge I needed to pass the exams. It was up to me to pay attention, study, memorize the facts, and look at the videos when I didn’t understand the concepts. During the program, I acquired useful professional skills. When the exam arrived, I felt confident and excited because I had made sure that I had studied and remembered everything. I used your online course and crammed all my studying (not entirely recommended, but I already have a Bachelor’s degree in medicine and some medical school programs completed from the United States, so I had learned all the material a few times before). The course very well helped me navigate through the material in preparing for the MD exam. So thank you, very much, for providing this course to students looking to gain acceptance around the world.

The mentality at RMU is one of collaboration. By helping the students become better doctors, and also all the communities served by RMU alumni. This support from my peers has been bested only by the inspiration I’ve gained from RMU, who lead by example in their devotion to serving the students. Now, RMU has undoubtedly shaped my understanding of diversity and the need for compassionate health care workers who treat patients of all walks of life, without judgement. I have learned how and when I can use my knowledge and resources to address some of their troubles. I know that by doing so, I will become a better doctor, prepared for the challenges ahead, whether here or beyond.

My parents and I thought after studying MBBS that cost us a fortune, from a foreign country like Philippines, passing the MCI exams and getting in to a low cost MD program is difficult, but we were wrong. RMU helped me.
