The Royal Medical University’s Royal College tests the knowledge, experience and clinical competence expected of trained doctors of their core training in the field.

Passing the Royal College examination grants membership of this Royal College of RMU.

The examination has two parts:

Part A: Evaluation of your Application Material – Credentials (Degree and Government Registration certificates, Experience and other professional accomplishments.

Part B: Objective Structured Clinical Online Examination.

The Membership examination tests the knowledge, experience and clinical competence expected of professionals.

Note: Highly qualified and well experienced professionals may apply for exemption from taking the Part B: Objective Structured Clinical Online Examination and be granted.

FELLOWSHIP

The Royal Medical University’s Royal College evaluates the knowledge, experience and clinical competence expected of experienced doctors of their core experience.

Highly qualified and well experienced professionals may apply and be granted the Fellowship.

Clearing the evaluation of the submitted application material, grants fellowship of this royal college of RMU.

The Fellowship evaluation is done by the Royal College and evaluates the knowledge, experience and clinical competence expected of professionals.

Are there any costs for the memberships / fellowships?
RMU and its affiliated Royal Colleges do not charge any fees from its members / fellows.
RCs' DO NOT COLLECT ANY FEES WHATSOEVER. HOWEVER, INORDER TO SUSTAIN OUR NOBLE ENDEAVOR, YOU NEED TO PAY ONLY A VERY SMALL SERVICE CHARGE / SUBSCRIPTION CHARGE (VALID FOR 5 YEARS), DIRECTLY TO OUR STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES PROVIDER FOR OUR MEMBERSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS!
Do you verify the members’ membership and fellowship with you?
Yes, we do verify. Please contact the RMU membership team with verification requests, by email. We verify existing members and fellows at no charge.
How long is the validity period of the membership and fellowship?
They are valid for 5 years. You may apply and renew the membership and fellowship on expiry after 5 years.
How do I pay for my subscription?
You can pay online. We accept Bank Wire Transfers and Visa, Master card, etc. No administration fee applies.
How do I resign midway, my membership or fellowship?
If you wish to cancel your membership or fellowship, your record will be updated only when we have received written confirmation of your decision. If you wish to reinstate your membership or fellowship within 3 years, you will need to apply to the membership team and pay any outstanding membership or fellowship arrears at the time of resigning. Please email the membership team and we will ensure your correspondence is forwarded to the concerned.
How do I amend my details with you?
For amendments to your name, qualifications, etc., please send the change request along with supporting evidence (a copy of the marriage certificate, passport, diploma, etc.) to the membership team by email.
